Basically the way it reads is that the FCC (whose commissioners are appointed by the President) can, at any time have a radio stations license pulled if they are deemed as failing.  The license would then in turn, be awarded to whoever the FCC deems as a more diverse owner.

Translation:  We are going to pull Conservative talk radio licenses and give them to ACORN and MoveOn.org to start radio stations that on one will listen to.  Becasue as far as the libs are concerned it’s better to have more liberal radio stations that no one listens to than Conservative talk radio that is successful, all in the name of diversity.  It’s affirmative action for talk radio.

If only Ronnie was here today to see what Obamanomics and mass hysteria has done to our eceonmy and our Constitution.  The fingers of government have gone from slowly wrapping around the throat of the american people, to squeezing the life out of the one liberty we have left.  To get a job or start a business and have no limits to what you can do, or how far you can go, or how much money you can make.  All of the sudden hard working, responsible americans have to pay for there neighbors mistakes.  CEO’s may have salary caps, and the welfare mongers will have healthcare and food laid out in front of them with no incentive to get a job and be a productive member of the society they feed from.

Sounds like alot of fear to me coming from the Yes We Can Man.  I guess it is a good tactic to keep the liberal masses entertained and looking for there handout.

It’s about time a state stands up and calls out the feds and reminds them that the states are free and independent.  And all the proposed federal gun laws and stimulus and spending bills are illegal, and they don’t have to bow down to the Messiah and Nazi Pelosi and do what they say.

In a video Kutcher posted on his website he threatens to kill his neighbor over the awful noise pollution and annoying sounds of hammers hitting steel.  Because that’s all construction workers do, hammer on steel.  What a moron.

I guess when the celebrities promised to be neighborly they meant only if there neighbors do what there libtard, hypocrite, elitist asses want them to do.  Oh well, as long as P. Diddy keeps turning those lights off.  God knows no one else who works for a living does.  Oh and by the way Anthony Keidis or however you spell your name,  when people plege service to the President it usually means they have joined the military.  I doubt you will be doing that, so sit down and shut up.

If you look at the stock market over a long period of time it has historically increased.  The whole idea of the stock market is long term investment.  You put money in when stocks are low and years later you sell them -hopefully- at a profit.  The stock market is really a long term gamble.  Some people make alot of money, others lose it.  The thing is it is the same money.  It has capital.  It came from somewhere and is passed on from one person to another.  That is whole idea of money.  It is based on the exchange of goods and services from one person to another.  The “Pimp My Ride” generation thinks that if they put a couple of bucks that mommy and daddy gave them in the market, it will sit there and grow, and when they want to sell the stocks that were purchased and get cash in return it will be there.

The problem is it might not be, because the market has a flow to it.  Over short periods it is up and up down.  Only in the long term do you see an upward trend.  So all these liberal pansies that have no sense of ecomonics but have been told they are special there whole lives assume there money will exponentially grow over a year or two.  So they are crying to anyone who will listen to do something, anything to boost the economy.  If you just wait and let the market work itself out the money will come back.  My stocks in the Pacific Rim fund I invest in are worth next to nothing right now.  A couple of months ago they were worth $70+ a share.  It fine with me because instead of buying stocks at $70 share I can buy them for a couple of bucks, and when the market turns around, which it will eventually, I will have twice as many shares for $70+ a peice.

JUST LET THE MARKET BE!!!  It will work itself out.  All it takes is patience,  THERE IS NO CRISIS.  And as far as people losing there jobs go, I do feel bad.  People have families to feed.  But nowhere in the Constitution does it say anything about people having a right to a job.  A job is a priviledge you earn, not a right.  Business’ should not have to keep people employed for the sake of keeping them employed.  If they are not selling the goods or services they are in business to sell they will cut costs.  In other words, they eliminate jobs.

Now as Secratary of the Treasury he oversees the IRS.  An agency he can never actually work for because he has had tax problems (you would think that someone who was President of the 9th Federal Reserve Bank of New York would know how to do his taxes).  Of course he was one of the lead regrulators that pushed for the financial “innovations” on wall street that has caused the economy to slump.  I guees the Messiah’s thinking is that the best guy to fix it is the guy that screwed it up.

On Sunday afternoon Weekly Standard editor and New York Times columnist Bill Kristol — in an email exchange with Big Hollywood — agreed to debate Matt Damon on his Hollywood home turf after being informed the 38-year old actor ridiculed Kristol in an interview in the Miami Herald.

“He’s an idiot — he wrote that we should be grateful to George Bush because he won the Iraq war. We! Won! The! War!”

As the sponsor of the event, Big Hollywood is offering $100,000 to Damon (or to the charity or carbon credit of his choice) to publicly debate Kristol at a mutually agreed upon time, date and venue.

During the last election cycle the liberal activist Damon — who briefly attended Harvard University — also heaped scorn on John McCain’s vice presidential pick, Sarah Palin:

“You do the actuary tables, there’s a one out of three chance, if not more, that McCain doesn’t survive his first term, and it’ll be President Palin…. It’s like a really bad Disney movie, ‘The Hockey Mom.’ Oh, I’m just a hockey mom from Alaska, and she’s president. She’s facing down Vladimir Putin and using the folksy stuff she learned at the hockey rink. It’s absurd.”

Damon is no stranger to left-wing politics. His Oscar-nominated screenplay, “Good Will Hunting,” co-written with Ben Affleck, was inspired by anarchist Boston University historian, Howard Zinn.

Our new CINC attended quite a few gatherings last night, but as This Ain’t Hell reports, the Salute To Heroes Inaugural Ball was not one of them.  For the first time in 56 years, a newly-inaugurated president has not attended the ball begun by President Eisenhower.  14 presidents later, a snub.

Go check it out over there-  FORTY-EIGHT MoH recipients were in attendance.  People- that’s HALF of the recipients that are still alive, and darn well nearly all that are physically able to attend events.

The American Legion, as it has on every inauguration evening since 1953, hosted the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Banquet &  Ball on January 20^th. The quadrennial event is co-sponsored with fourteen veterans service and military service organizations and honors recipients of the Medal of Honor.  Forty-seven of these heroes attended this year’s event which was held in the Renaissance Washington DC Hotel.

President Obama was invited but did not attend.  Vice-President Joe Biden did appear, however, and was very warmly received.  The new President’s absence was understandable considering the unprecedented logistical challenges presented by the vastly increased number of visitors to this inauguration and the necessary attendant security measures.  The American Legion, as an organization, does not feel offended or “snubbed.”
